Process piping is the backbone of any oil & gas, petrochemical or industrial facility. Choosing the correct pipe specification — material grade, schedule, end preparation and dimensional standard — is fundamental to system integrity and long service life.
Tecflow Energy maintains a ready stock of seamless (SMLS) and welded pipes in the most commonly required sizes and schedules for the Tunisian and North African market. Our inventory covers carbon steel pipe to API 5L / ASTM A106 Grade B and stainless steel pipe to ASTM A312 TP316L, from ½″ NPS through to 12″ NPS in multiple schedules.
All pipe is supplied with mill test certificates (MTCs) to EN 10204 3.1, with heat number traceability. Pipe is stocked in standard 6-meter random lengths.

Questions fréquentes
What is the difference between seamless and welded pipe?
Seamless pipe is manufactured from a solid billet that is pierced and rolled — there is no longitudinal weld seam, so it has uniform mechanical properties. Welded pipe is formed from plate or coil and has a longitudinal weld seam. Seamless is preferred for high-pressure, high-temperature and critical service.
What does API 5L Grade B mean?
API 5L Grade B is a line pipe specification published by the American Petroleum Institute. It specifies minimum yield strength of 241 MPa and minimum tensile strength of 414 MPa. It is essentially equivalent to ASTM A106 Grade B for most process piping applications.
What schedule pipe do I need?
Pipe schedule is a wall thickness designation. Schedule 40 is suitable for moderate-pressure services. Schedule 80 (XS) provides greater pressure capacity. Schedule 160 and XXS are for very high-pressure applications. Our engineers can help calculate the minimum required wall thickness per ASME B31.3.
Can you supply pipe with 3.1 mill test certificates?
Yes. All pipe supplied by Tecflow comes with EN 10204 3.1 material test certificates as standard. For specific project requirements, we can source pipe with project-specific testing and third-party inspection (Bureau Veritas, SGS, Apave) on request.
